Tips for Booking All-Inclusive Resorts in Hawaii
As with all of our All-Inclusive Resorts guides, here’s a couple of quick tips to get you started with booking the best all-inclusive resorts in Hawaii for you and your crew!
Are There All-Inclusive Resorts in Hawaii?
Not in the way that there are Caribbean all-inclusive resorts and Mexican all-inclusive resorts.
Despite what the term suggests, no all-inclusive resort anywhere includes everything.
In Mexico and throughout the Caribbean, many all-inclusives include meals and alcohol but often exclude things like spa treatments, recreational gear, and offsite excursions.
Resorts in Hawaii generally don’t include meals and alcohol in the nightly rate, but might include spa access, kid’s club, equipment, fitness/yoga classes, cultural experiences, and a number of other perks.
“All-inclusive” style resorts in Hawaii often charge a required “resort fee” in addition to the nightly rate, which covers the sorts of activities, services, and amenities you’d expect to find in traditional all-inclusive resorts.
It’s no secret that costs can quickly mount during a stay at one of the premier beachfront resorts in the spectacular Hawaiian Islands.
You’ll generally get a lot more value for your dollar paying a set resort fee than paying à la carte for each individual amenity. Plus, it makes it a lot easier to budget for your vacation.
When you add up what’s included, all-inclusive resorts in Hawaii can end up saving you a ton of money, especially if you want to take advantage of these resorts’ signature features and offerings.
What’s Included, What’s Not Included
When researching all-inclusive resorts in Hawaii or elsewhere, always make sure that you understand what’s included and what’s not included (e.g. things such as meals, alcohol, tours, and water sports equipment may be available at an additional cost).
We’ve included a sampling of what types of things each property might be including in their nightly rate and resort fee at the time of writing.
Of course, you’ll want to refer to the info on the booking site or hotel site for the most accurate and up-to-date information.
