Honestly I wasn't expecting a nice hostel in Nampula, but Rubys surprised me. Electric-heated showers ensure hot water any time of day. The tents that contain the bunks are quite clean and seal well enough to keep out mosquitos. The bathroom is also very clean and all the water worked. Staff were also super nice and took me to the train at 4am (!!)

Germany“Great value for money. Very nice and helpful staff. Beware that Ruby's offers films and little concerts two or three times a week, starting at 19:00, ending at 21:30 hrs. That time can be a bit noisy. But from 21:30 on it is quiet.”
